Carlo Centonze wins the CEO of The Year 2022 Award by European CEO

It is our pleasure to announce that our Group CEO, Carlo Centonze, has just been adjudged the winner of the CEO of The Year 2022 Award in the Textile Industry, by European CEO. 

The judging panel was “very impressed that while doing their due diligence, under Mr. Centonze's leadership and guidance the company has won many significant awards, and Mr. Centonze has taken the company into being a truly global brand within the textile industry.” The judges who chose among the CEOs nominated by European CEO readers were also “very pleased with the level of depth and detail within each of his answers” to the questions made by the panellists, “particularly some of the sentiments he stated such as never giving up, always being resilient and persevering, and when evaluating Mr. Centonze's personal and company achievements, leadership and growth of the company under his stewardship along with his standing within the textile industry, the panel decided that Mr. Carlo Centonze is a worthy recipient of this award.” 

These awards recognize the special traits that make successful chief executives inspiring and celebrate chief executives in those fields that European CEO readers feel are making strides in the European and Global economies. The prize also recognizes “product, functional, strategic and managerial innovation in companies and individuals showing commercial insight and market integrity”, all criteria that were key for the choice of Carlo as one of the recipients of the award.
