HeiQ GrapheneX is finalist for the Swiss Technology Award 2026
HeiQ GrapheneX has been selected as a finalist for the Swiss Technology Award 2026 in the Industry Innovation category, one of Switzerland's highest distinctions for technological innovation.
Chosen from more than 120 submissions, HeiQ GrapheneX is recognized for its porous graphene technology, which enables next-generation lithium batteries with significantly higher energy density and improved cell stability. The technology forms the basis of HeiQ GrapheneX battery cells, developed in partnership with a leading Korean battery manufacturer.
The Swiss Technology Award jury selected nine finalists across three categories: Inventors, Rising Stars, and Industry Innovation. HeiQ joins EXITFLEX and Sefar as finalists in the Industry Innovation category.
For HeiQ, the nomination continues a long-standing track record at the Swiss Technology Award:
- 2010: Winner, HeiQ Oilguard
- 2020: Winner, HeiQ Viroblock
- 2024: Finalist, HeiQ AeoniQ
- 2026: Finalist, HeiQ GrapheneX
The winners will be announced at the Swiss Technology Award Night in Zurich on November 25, 2026.
