Consumer validation of synbiotic odor control spray for textiles

The synbiotic odor control spray for textiles was validated in two consumer studies in 2025, including a six-week industry partner home-use trial with 50 households in the United Kingdom and a survey of 40 Swiss webshop purchasers. Consumers used the spray on shoes, sportswear, everyday clothing, and other textiles worn multiple times between washes, and consistently reported fresher-smelling items after use. Most users rated odor control performance at 4–5 out of 5 and noted that garments could be worn longer before laundering, as the spray helped refresh fabrics that were not visibly dirty but no longer smelled fresh.

Across both studies, participants described the product as effective on both everyday items and fabrics that are harder to wash frequently, highlighting its ability to extend wear time between washes. Consumer advocacy was strong, with 91% of respondents stating that they would recommend the product. The synbiotic technology was also viewed positively, with many users recognizing it as a clear point of difference and a meaningful contributor to the product’s performance.

One consumer commented: "I found my office shirts could be worn several days after using the spray overnight." Another commented: "It works. It neutralized any ‘wear’ smells. It saved me washing items as frequently and saved time. For example, if I took a scarf from my wardrobe to match an outfit and it smelt stale, I sprayed it and wore the scarf virtually straight away."
