The high-performance technologies of Swiss textile innovator HeiQ are not only well known for its use in sports apparel, they bring added value to home textiles too. International home accessory retailers as well as specialized manufacturers such as BekaertDeslee have already enhanced their home textile collections with HeiQ’s technologies to create differentiation, added value and well-being for their customers.

Originally developed for use in outdoor and sportswear, HeiQ’s technologies work perfectly for home textiles. They provide increased hygiene, thermoregulating, freshness and quick dry functionalities, reducing cost as well as the environmental footprint of household textiles. Upholstery, carpets, curtains, bed sheets, mattress ticking and towels can be successfully upgraded with HeiQ’s bluesign approved and Oekotex conform technologies. The sell trough and growth for HeiQ partners in home textiles has been strong.

Intelligently thermoregulating HeiQ Smart Temp and odor-controlling HeiQ Fresh Tech create an ideal sleeping environment, whereas environment friendly HeiQ Eco Dry keeps carpets and rugs clean and stain free for longer.

Companies are increasingly aiming at a reduced carbon footprint and spending a significant amount of money on renewable energy and climate change prevention. HeiQ is delighted to be able to offer HeiQ Clean Tech as a solution that significantly reduces carbon emissions. Applicable to any home textile based on polyester, HeiQ Clean Tech improves the dye quality and accelerates the dyeing process with disperse dyes by 1/3 to achieve cost, water energy and CO2 savings of about 30%, thereby strongly reducing waste water and lower the carbon footprint.

HeiQ will present its full product range at the Heimtextil from 10-13 January 2017, inviting customers and interested parties to visit its booth 8.0 K45. The trend setting and leading Heimtextil is the biggest and most important tradeshow for home and contract textiles worldwide.
