HeiQ GrapheneX

High energy-density battery cells for UAVs

Double energy-density battery performance, enabled by proprietary current collector innovation

HeiQ GrapheneX battery cells deliver high energy density for UAV applications, enabling extended range, increased payload, and improved mission endurance. The technology is based on proprietary current collector designs optimized for anode-free and lithium-metal battery architectures, enabling stable performance under high-power cycling conditions.

What the technology delivers

  • Double energy density vs conventional lithium-ion batteries
  • Up to 350 Wh/kg at 10C per battery cell
  • 50-80% extended range and/or 30–50% increased payload
    • 40% higher starting capacity vs benchmark cells
    • 80% capacity maintained over >94 cycles under high-power conditions
    • 100 cycles demonstrated in UAV-relevant high-power cycling
  • Robust cell stability through improved lithium deposition
  • Validated in device-level and drone tests

Performance validated under UAV-relevant conditions

Recent test results show more than 40% higher starting capacity compared to benchmark cells, with over 80% capacity maintained after more than 94 cycles under high-power cycling conditions. Performance beyond 100 cycles has been demonstrated, supporting practical deployment scenarios.

Designed for integration

HeiQ GrapheneX battery cells enable measurable system-level benefits, including extended UAV range and increased payload capacity, without requiring redesign of existing platforms. The cells are compatible with current integration approaches and are designed for scalable industrial production.
