Barrier by HeiQ provides a microscopic 3D-structure to the textile fiber surface through specialized microsized particles firmly embedded in a very thin coating applied to the fabric. The fine particles minimize the contact area between drops and fabric, thereby preventing water or stains from any contact with the textile underneath and also allowing for self-clearning effects with easy roll-off of the dirt particles or soiling fluid. While providing strong and durable repellency protection, Barrier by HeiQ still allows full breathability through the textile.
